Ingredient for 4 to 6 servings
- 4 cups carrots, peeled and cut diagonally
- 2 tablespoons butter or olive oil
- 3/4 cup of chicken or vegetable broth
- 1 onion, or 5 shallots thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons Maple syrup
- Salt, pepper
- Chopped parsley and/or chive
1. Sweat the onions in butter or olive oil. Add salt and pepper.
2. Add carrots and maple syrup. Add the broth. Cover and cook for 7 to 8 minutes until tender
3. Before serving, add parsley and season to taste.
